Beverly's Story

Life I moved to Houston, Texas after college and lived there for a year, then moved to Tulsa for a short time. After that, I went back to Texas, met and married my husband in 1979. We had two daughters, now grown and moved out. We live in Texas (in the Mid-cities area between Dallas & Fort Worth. We also bought some lakefront property and are working it and getting it ready to build on. We hope to retire within five years. School I went to Sequoyah Elementary and Jr. High until my mother died when I was 13 years old, then my father, Truman Johnson, started Oklahoma Aerospace Academy and I attended there until it closed down when he had a heart attack and died seven months later when I was 14 years old. When he died, I moved to Oklahoma City and moved in with my cousins, Tony and Margarite Pickle and attended Western Oaks Jr. High. I left there at the end of the ninth grade and moved back to Claremore, where I lived with my sister Rayma for the summer, then moved in with Charles & Emaloyd Mulanax and attended Claremore High School and graduated in 1975. I moved out on my 18th birthday. I then attended Northeastern A&M in Miami, Ok. and left there in 1977. From there.................. Workplace I started a residential/office cleaning service, Ultimate Cleaning Service in 2003 and it is going well. In July, I incorporated and my corporate name is Linton Services, Inc. It is primarily a residential/commercial cleaning service with organizing, etc. Pr...Expand for more
ior to that I worked at a police department for 8 years, funeral home for 4 years, construction company and a few others. Got a lot of experience to help me in this endeavor. I should have started this businesses 20 years ago. I love it! It's a lot of fun for me to make people so happy. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gary French, who I went to college with at Northeastern A&M at Miami, OK. We had a falling out and I want him to know something I did for him. I hadn't seen or talked to him in 20 years and was working at Greenwood Funeral Home in Ft. Worth. He lived in Houston, but apparently his mother & stepfather lived in Fort Worth. When I got to work one morning, there was the paperwork for a funeral that I needed to prepare, type up and organize. It was his mother's funeral. The funeral was at another location, so I was not able to go see him. I want him to know that his mother's funeral was prepared special by someone who cared about him and his mother. Lots of memories of college. I wasn't a trouble maker exactly, but I did hold my own. There was a girl in my dorm who told on everyone all the time and I ignored her for the most part.....until the day she told on me with a fabricated story. I found an old dead fish head and nailed it to her door, then took a mop bucket full of water and poured it under her door (she had carpets) and then lit bottle rockets under her door at midnight. She never bothered me again.
