Military
After school in San Diego, Ca started my military career in Stockton, Ca where I meet my husband. My next command was in Yokosuka Japan. Got married in Guam, where my husband was sent (only 300 air miles from Japan). After Japan, was sent back to California, this time San Diego for school and then a command. Japan, but a different command. Got discharged at the end of my tour and we traveled to Submarine Base Bangor, Washington. I joined the Naval Reserves, and completed the remainder of my military time (23 years) and retired as an Information Systems Technician Master Chief (formaly Radioman). I retired Aug 1 only a month before the 9/11 incident that deployed my Reserve Unit for a year.
