Bill's Story
Life
I enlisted into the U.S. Army in October, 1970, and in 1972, I married my first wife .
After completion of my enlistment in the military, I lived outside Philadelphia PA for 23 years, and was employed as a State Corrections Officer at a Maximum Security Prison, 30 miles west of Philadelphia PA, near Norristown PA in Montgomery County.
My first wife and I divorced in 1993, and I retired from the Department in 1995, returning to California in 1996. The only thing I miss about Pennsylvania are my three children, Tyler- 42, Cliff-39, and Aprilrae, 38; Grand Children, Sloane-19, Aurora (Rory)-13, Addison- .4, Luke-6, and Jack-3.
After returning to California, I was employed as Chief of Security for a large Distribution Center in S. Sacramento. During that time I remarried in 2005 to my current wife, Jeanette (Wolf), a 1966 graduate of Antioch High, and soon after,...Expand for more
we purchased a home in Surprise AZ, a community northwest of Phoenix, where I was employed with the AZ Department of Correction. In 2008 we returned to CA and purchased a home in Rocklin, approximately twenty miles northeast of Sacramento, and was employed in security at Thunder Valley Casino, Lincoln CA for three years, retiring for real at age 60, in 2010.
We recently purchased our home at Sun City, Lincoln Hills, in Lincoln CA, next to Rocklin.
My wife and I enjoy traveling, having visited various countries in Europe, Australia, and the West and East Caribbean Islands.
Military
Active Army/ 3 years- Active Duty: Sergeant, E-5, 82nd Airborne Division, Light Weapons Infantry-Parachute, Ranger,and 75th Ranger Regiment, Airborne, attached to the 1st Cavalry Division.
Army National Guard/ 20 years-28th Infantry Division, Army National Guard, Captain, Infantry Retired
