I love the Lord, my kids, movies, sports, and the Bible. Unfortunately I've never been able to actually have a "career...Expand for more
" involving anything I love. Work has always been work - a way to make money to do other things I really like to do. I've always subscribed to that thought that on my deathbed I won't be saying, "I wish I would have worked more!" To me, it's impossible to balance work and family and to do both well, so I've chosen family.
Trini and I adopted 3 amazing kids and it's been both incredibly difficult but truly rewarding. I just can't wait until they get a LITTLE bit older though! Having to take care of EVERY need for 3 small kids, 24 hours a day, is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do.

APPENDUM: Divorce papers were filed July 7/10/2009. What movie(s) would describe all this? A LOT. Me having to be a dad by myself is like KRAMER VS. KRAMER; the craziness of life and why a divorce can happen, and you have kids is THE STORY OF US; starting a new life, taking the kids on weekends, getting a new place is MRS. DOUBTFIRE minus the dressing in drag. Started as WAR OF THE ROSES, because of UNFAITHFUL, ending peacfully as we share the children as grown-ups and do what is best for the kids. (not a movie, but very much like Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Bruce Willis).".
