William (Bill)'s Story
Hello to all my old Friends.
I am still living here in Alaska, I really love it here, and I don't think I could ever leave!
I have Two Sons 27 and 24. One Grandson he is almost Two now! I Love and adore him and wish I could see him and my sons more often. I guess that's the price I pay for the Adventure and excitement that I so enjoy that Alaska has to offer!
I am so very proud of my Sons, even though they live so far away, they have always been and always will be the focus of my life.
The oldest is married, has one Son, is an Electrician, owns his own home, and has grown to be a great Son, and an all around awesome Human Being.
My youngest is living on his own, going to College at Utah State University, The same place I got my Degree, yes I did go back to school and got a degree! hard to believe ay?, Well my youngest is working toward a Triple Major in Biology, Secondary Education, and Political Science. Wow! I know, and my Mother always told me my Kids would Ten Times worse than I was!
As for myself, yes I did manage to get a degree from Utah Stat...Expand for more
e University. I managed Outdoor living History Sites in Utah and then in Texas. I resigned and went back to Drilling and Blasting where I get to work with Explosives allot. I also work in general heavy construction working on projects such as the 90 and 120K Olympic Ski Jumps you can see from the highway near Park City. I was Laborer Foreman
on that job.
I also worked in the Cole Mines in South Central Utah for a while as a Minner Opperatore. I eventually made it back to Alaska and worked on the Whittier Tunnel as a Jacklegg driller.
For the last few years I've been working on some of the High rise buildings and parking garrodges in
Anchorage. I was knocked out of commision this past Winter when I slipped off a ladder at work and shattered my Ankle!! Ya I'm hating it! Hopefully I'll be back to work soon!
Well, that's where I'm at for the mean time. I hope all my old friend are doing well and good.
If you think you remember me? and I hope in a good way! I know I was a little wild back then! So throw down a few words so I know how you're all doing!
