one was a psychedylic trip to a colorful fantastic world. When we returned to the States I was in mourning for the loss of all my friends and the fantastic adventures. It took me years to come around, but a trip to the clear mountain streams in the Sierras was the tonic I needed. Thanks Terry for inviting me to Inskip. Still socially inept I was starting to put things together my Junior and Senior years at San Rafael High.
I was all set to go to SF State when Dad got transfered to Paris. I spent three years in France. It was a cold lonely place at times, but it was another profound change. I made some good friends and had some good times. It all came a little easier in Holland where the Dutch are a little closer to my temperment. Loved the other countries I visited: Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Italy then Holland. I saw a lot of France in my old 49 Simca. It was nothing to head out from Paris with my Irish girlfriend and see Fountainbleau or take the train to Chartres. My brother and I drove to Spain to the Barcelona, Tarragona area called Catalonia. Would have liked to see more of Europe. I barely got into Germany but didn't spend much time there. The old Simca let me down when I tried to go to the Octoberfest in Munich.".
