Bill's Story

I graduated from PHS in 1975 and moved to New Mexico not long afterwards. I got married in Nov. 1982 and we have two kids, a son who is a banker, a daughter, a speech pathologist and a total of seven grand kids. I own a cattle ranch with several horses. My entire career since leaving PHS has been in law enforcement, and I am the former sheriff of Hidalgo County, NM. I retired in 2012, moved to Arizona and now devote my time to the ranch and to our business, the Four Bar Cottages in Portal, AZ My wife is a nurse. I give lectures and power points to historical societies and colleges, and am the author of the book "The Chiricahua Apaches: A Concise History.". My other passions are hunting and travelling. All of this seems a far cry from Parsippany...
