Bill's Story
1971 Motorcycle trip across Canada with Whaley, Stewert, and Roger; Around Lake Superior via Regina, Saskatoon, Edmundton, Dawson Creek, Prince Albert, Jasper, Banff, and Calgary. Back through Butte for a visit with Birkelo.
197? Spent two months sailing and doing marine research from Dominican Republic to Boston. BS degree in physiology from MSU. Got married (1st time) to Patty King.
1979 first son born.
1981 second son born.
1983 Houston, TX divorced Patty, granted custody of sons.
1987 moved back to Michigan, Suttons Bay.
1988 Bought and ran a party store with sister, Ginny.
Married for second time, divorced one year later.
Motorcycle trip from Michigan to Nova Scotia and across New Foundland.
1995 Eagles reunion, Hell Freezes Over. Married again. Third time for both of us.
1998 Sold party store.
2001 Motorcycle trip western U.S. and Canada, visited Hawaii. Moved to Oregon.
2005 Moved to Texas. Drove OTR for Stevens Transport for two years. Hired i...Expand for more
n with Halliburton in Hobbs, NM. Transferred to Pampa, TX.
2009 Laid off in May from Halliburton in Pampa, TX.
2010 Had to break down and buy new jeans, getting fat due to time-off from work and laziness, first time size 36 waist. March, hiring back with Halliburton, time to get back into shape and the old jeans!

Left Halliburton when I saw they were heading heading for a fall. Went to work for another oil service company hauling waste water (this job really sucked!)
2015 1st back surgery. Later 2 more back surgeries on lower back, bad discs and scoliosis. Disability rolled to retirement.
2022 Finally able to function mostly pain free. Visited Clarkston area for July get-together. Very good to see old friends. Now working out to go skiing this winter. No, I probably shouldn't ski with rods, screws, and cages in my back but so what! Presently down from 40" waist to 38".
