Bill's Story
Life
Majored in Theatre Arts and left UK to work professionally with Diners Playhouse in Lexington, Opryland USA in Nashville and freelanced at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Vanderbilt University, and the Tennessee Repretory Theatre. Began a second career in 1988 by becoming a PGA Golf Professional in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee. Moved to Louisville (current home) and have been the Kentucky PGA and Kentucky Golf Association Director/Tournament Operations since 1995. Married Sharon Lamb from Virginia on News Year Eve, 1976. She is a singer and actress;i.e. classical music performer, voice teacher, and was the music minister at our church for two years. We have no children, just cats (2).

Have just completed my BA degree in Theatre Arts at UK after returning to class in FAll of 2003. Completed all classes with 4.0 GPA in 2003 and 2004. I have not changed my career but the opportunities may open anytime and I wanted to be ready to take the next step if it comes along.

ky as Director of Tournaments for the KGA-PGA. 2008 will be an exciting year for us as the Ryder Cup comes to Louisville in September. I will be serving where needed at Valhalla Golf Club and look forward to seeing some of my friends from Lafayette during the week.
**Update**
The Ryder Cup was a special experience for me and one I will not forget.
The 2010 year is almost over and I have had some very high and very low moments. My father passed away on May 5th after a heart attack. He had been recovering from a double bypass and aorta surgery in 2008 and lived a very full life.
My involvement with theatre and music has come full circle and I was able to participate in the 50th Anniversary of "The Kentuckians Barbershop Chorus" at the Lexington Opera House and the 100th Anniversary of the "Guignol Theatre" at UK this year.
