Bill's Story
Life
I live in Springfield, Missouri.
I work for the Myrl Billings Memorial Veterans Center.
I have two children.
I love to read (mostly history) However, I read any fiction by James Michener, James Clavell, Gore Vidal, Sherman Alexis, Edward Rutherford, Somerset Maugham, and Morgan Llwellyn.
My favorite activities are RC airplanes, outdoor photography, camping, backpacking, sailing, and canoeing but anyone who knows me already knows that.
I also have a passion for sports cars, f-body cars, and motorcycles (mostly sport bikes, I'm not into the Harley scene).
School
What can I say, Marshfield was a nice place to go to school but I would not do high school over again for any amount of money.
College
I love the academic world and I will always live close to a University and take classes until the day th...Expand for more
at I die.
I have never seen nor heard of a history class that I did not want to take.
I have attended colleges all over the country. Southwest Missouri State University, I loved it but it was much better 25 years ago than it is now.
Mizzou is the greatest and I look forward to spending even more time there.
Workplace
I work at the Myrl Billings Memorial Veterans Center and I can not imagine doing anything that would be more satisfying. I assist veterans in getting benefits that they are entitled to. We help a great many people who are in need and that gives me a great feeling.
Military
I enjoyed the people that I met in the military and would like to see them again more than any other group. I loved Tachikawa AB, Japan and I have many fond memories of people I met at Utapao and George AFB, Ca.
