Bill Garrett:  

Born in Canon, we left a couple of time when I was young. Went to school here from 1st to the 11th. We move to California right after school started in 1966. After high school (Montclair CA) Enjoyed California, we were just out side of LA. So was able to the do the California thing, learned to surf, and hung around Huntington Beach a bit. I finished up school in January of 68, by May of 68 I was in the Army, after boot camp I went to GA. For a while then off to the Viet Nam. I served two tours as a Military Advisor with MACV on a three man mobile advisory team (MACV team 42, MATII-6) in the central highlands. Came home on Dec.26, 1970. Got married and moved to San Diego. Left San Diego in 1979 and ended up in Denver. Went to work for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development as a construction inspector. Marriage ended after thirteen years, but came out with two great sons. Then did the thing that all good American boys wants to do...Expand for more
