Bill's Story
After high school attended Auburn where I was a lambda chi. At age 20 I married Bettye Welch and she was 18. I worked in a sporting goods store to help living expenses and school. In 1960 we moved to Atlanta. By this time we had two children Kathy and Bill Jr. I started a career in the fishing tackle industry as a mfg rep. I worked for great tackle companies. ng so much I took a job in Hot Springs, Ark as national sales manager for Cordell Fishing Company. We lived on a large lake for 23 years. Went back as a rep and spent time in Japan developing fishing items. Bettye and her twin Bobbye have both been deceased for sometime. I have been married to Lisa for 24 years. We live in Hot Springs Village, Ar. the largest gated community in the country and a great place to live.
