Bill's Story
Hi all, after high school i attended Ohio Institute of Technology, Pitt, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the US Army MP School. . I married and lived in Pgh for about 10 years after school, divorced and moved to Gettysburg area (after spending time in D.C.) I worked in contracting for the Navy, then transferred to the Army at the US Army War College, working in Engineering. I produced a two time emmy winning TV show, then transferred to Army Recruiting in 1999 where I am currently the Public Affairs, Force Protection and Anti-Terrorism Officer for the state of PA. I also hold the Education Chair for Harrisburg's Saint Patrick's Day Parade Scholarship Committee.
I remarried and my wife and I just celebrated30 wonderful years in 2016.
Hard to believe the Army asked if I wanted to retire this year, think I'll hang around just to tick people off. Back in school we didn't trust anyone over 30, and the government, now I am both :-)
