Bill's Story
I have been retired for nearly three years.Really lucky!I was part of a defined benefit pension plan that had a comfortable benefit.Also my wife,Lanie,is still working and covering health benefits for our family.
We have a son,Bryce.He just turned 20,and is a sophomore at Pacific University in Forest Grove.
I got on this site out of boredom.I have a season pass at Mount Hood Meadows.I had the misfortune of slipping on the ice in the parking lot after a fun day of skiing.Ended up in surgery to repair my right knee.Saw Bob Smith while in the hospital.He is a...Expand for more
n orthopedic surgeon at Kaiser.He is still the same friendly, humble, unassuming, guy we all liked in High school.
I still work out at the gym regularly.It keeps me centered and in shape to engage in the fun things I like to do.
I like to travel,and retirement has given me the time to pursue it.Last summer Lanie and I went on a road trip down the coast highway.We went from Gold Beach to San Simeon California with stops in Monterey,Carmel,Big Sure,and the Red Woods.
That's about all.It would be great to hear from any of my classmates.
