Bill's Story
Life
Raised in Beaverton Oregon and attended St. Cecilia's Catholic school before attending Highland Park Intermediate School in 1971 where I ran Track, Cross country and played basketball. (Had many great times especially in Sports Fitness Class in the 8th grade). Was also student body vice president in the 9th grade. I proceeded to Beaverton High School where I graduated in 1977. I've been married since July 1986 (Yes, almost 20 years!)and have two beautiful children; Desiree (16yrs old) and Nicole (13yrs old). Had to give up chasing my Olympic dreams in 1984 when I suffered a knee injury that kept me from the Olympic Trials qualifying while representing the San Diego Track club. Currently work as a computer systems analyst at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii where I have lived since leaving Oregon in 1982.
