Bill's Story

Life After graduation, I spent some time doing nothing. Then I went to work at Rocketdyne in the IT department. I stayed there for 6 years, got married. Had two daughters, then after about 10 years got divorced. I stayed in the SFV until 1977 when I remarried and moved to Temple City near Pasadena. In July of 2003 I retired from my last regular job as a Systems Programmer. When my wife retired a year later, we started looking for a place to move. We picked Oklahoma City because the natives are friendly, the location is nice, no traffic, no crowds, and housing is not outrageous. The downside is the weather in winter is not as nice as SoCal, but not all that bad. I still have my airplan...Expand for more
e and fly as much as I can. I play with my computers, look through my telescope and chase my wife around the house! :-) In 2014 I sold the airplane after owning "Charlie" of 25 years. Owning an airplane was a great experience. We were able to go many places that we would not have visited in a car or commercial flight.. I have been assisting the Reunion Committee for the Classes of 1961 by trying to locate our classmates. If you have not been contacted, that's because we have not been able to find any information about you such as telephone numbers, email or postal addresses. Please contact me here with a telephone number or email address so I can make contact for the Reunion Committee.
