Life Hi Gang, Bill Rice, or Billy, as I was called back in the 50's & class of "58"...Wow, is that a LONG time ago or what!!!...Matter a fact, It was 1954 and I was 1 of the 400 + Freshmen that snuck into school that second year MB was open. Many of the older Alums Did Not know we were 9th graders (Freshmen/Freshwomen). We were all a very close bunch of Wild Eyed Pea Greens that took the SD transit system busses to school, No bussing yet, which was an experience in itself. Boy was that a Change from PB Jr. HS!! AHHH but it was a GREAT experience, in many ways. I think I fell in Love about 100 times ( only about 1 or 2 of those ever knew it) wore out just about as many Jock straps, took a Zillion test's, flunked a BUNCH!! Fought with my parents about Grades, Pleaded with my teachers for passing ones, Formed many Lasting friendships dur...Expand for more
