Bill's Story

Went off to U of A (Fayetteville) and then came home into family business. Made a lot of money and a LOT of stupid mistakes. Went back to school after 9 years in business and got MBA at Fayetteville than on to Chapel Hill for Ph.D. Had two sons during Ph.D. studies to go along with the 3 daughters I got instantly in my marriage. Joined faculty at Univ. of Missouri (Columbia) for six years and then on to Pepperdine in California. Lived in SoCal f...Expand for more
or 3 years and then back to the middle of the country (Missouri, Tennessee and then Texas) but continued to work at Pepperdine. Am now a tenured, full professor so there are no more rungs in the ladder for me. I LOVE my job and get to teach executive students, travel the world, and hang out with incredible people (think Magic Johnson, etc.). I have a wonderful wife (originally from McGehee), 5 incredible children and 5 grandchildren. LIFE IS GOOD!
