Bill's Story
Life
I've been a high school English teacher and speech team coach at the University Laboratory School in Hawaii since 1988. I've edited a book and had a couple stories published. I've been to Ireland; I've stood on an active lava flow. I've seen a total eclipse. As much as I love where I live, I still think Yosemite (preferably in the dead of winter) is the most sacred place I know.

"Old man take a look at my life / I'm a lot like you were" I nodded. Now, when Paul Simon sings "My birthday's here / And all my friends stand up and cheer / And say man you're old" I don't fight it. I just sort of smile and say yeah, well....
I continue to hate writing about myself. I'd rather make up a story. I'm constantly wishing I knew then what I think I know now. I sometimes miss who I was. I sometimes miss many of you, who you were, who you are. Peace to you all.
