Bill's Story
After I left HSU in 1976 I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I married Cheryl Hood in December of 1978 and we have two terrific daughters. Jenny was born in 1983, graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2007 and was married in April of 2008. Whitney was born in 1986, graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2008 and married in May of 2008.
Cheryl has been an elementary school teacher and is now a behavior specialist. I became a CPA in 1986 and I have been in financial services (mostly banking) since I left school.
Cheryl and I are adjusting to the empty nest and enjoying the addition of two very fine young men into our family.

er husband Sean works in a research lab at UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. He graduated from DBU at the same time as Jenny and plans to go to Physicians Assistant school in 2009.
Whitney and her husband Scott, who also graduated from A&M this May, just moved to Fort Worth as Scott begins his working career in Civil Engineering. Whitney has a degree in Finance but seems more interested in raising a family so perhaps there will be grand children to spoil soon.
We are very grateful that both of our girls and their husbands are strong and committed Christians who are sincere in their desire to not just study scripture but to emulate Jesus in applying what they understand. Their faith is truly their own.
