Bill's Story
As we all know, a lot of choices can be made in a lifetime and mine have been some doozies. I won't go through all of them, just the highlights. I spent 12 years on active and reserve duty for the Navy. This enabled me to see places I had never even thought of visiting and live in Hawaii for several years. Couldn't seem to get away from the ocean, so in 2004 I went back to college at CSU Maritime Academy. The curriculum there sent me on a two month training cruise to the South Pacific. would have been able to complete school without the love and support of my wife. We married in 2002 and decided to expand our family in 2004. We adopted two beautiful little girls who were 2 and 5 at the time. After graduating in 2008 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering, I dragged my whole family up to Hillsboro, OR (just outside Portland) to work at a new Genentech Inc. facility which is currently under construction. We all love our new home and look forward to making many new memories here.
