Bill's Story

in a nutshell since high school:
-went to college 1 year
-went in navy
-went back to college 4 more years and got b.s in business from SJSU 1976
-got married to Cindy Burke from Los Angeles in 1977 in Hungry Horse, Montana
-worked for Control Data in Campbell for 5 years
-Had a baby girl Kimberli in 1979
-Had another baby girl Jaymie in 1980
-Had a baby boy Billy in 1983
-moved to Tulsa,Oklahoma in 1980 and still here working for Hewlett Packard/American Airlines
-have 9 grandchildren; Joshua 14, Sydney 12, Bella 11, Christopher 10, Willie 8, Shannon 6, Ava 5, Sawyer 2, Liam 0
what makes my life complete: my wife, kids, and grandkids -
what i love to do mostest: being outside; gardening and landscaping; camping and hiking; walking around local parks(my knees cant take jogging anymore); bicycling
dog - harold - retired racing greyhound; when we got dog wife agreed to pick up poo from yard; wife did not understand that unlike humans dogs poo 3-4 times a day; poo gets picked monthly meaning i have ...Expand for more
to mow over plethera of old dried poos; oh well; i love my wife - and dog....
love where i live - no rat race; no dog eat dog; slow pace of life; no traffic; low cost living; good simple people
lost interests: i painted and sold artwork for 15 years at art galleries in carmel, ca, gold beach, oregon, and tulsa, ok.....then i lost "it" - i stopped painting - kind of like when forrest gump was running across the u.s.a. and then one day he just didn't want to run anymore....maybe someday it will come back...maybe not...oh well
goals: i can't say i've achieved many - can't say i have any left; life has just been a wonderful winding path of good and not so good events that i run across every day and do what seems right at the time; i look forward to each day my feet hit the floor in the morning; love to see people smile and that glisten of light in there eye that shows happiness and eagerness of what life holds ahead for them......thats what keeps me going; i love to make folks smile and laugh, especially those that look like they need it....
