Mom passed on In August, 2015 (97)
I went on to be the first real mobile disc jockey...did it for 30 years, till 1994, at a "full-time" clip, about 250 events a year.... then took a "mid-life-crisis" year off, which turned into two years off, and worked for a record label, "Golden
Gate Records" in Santa Cruz, Ca. until 1999. Since then I do maybe 4 dates a year, when asked. I relocated to the Richmond Virginia area to help my sister care for my parents..and I sold for Circuit City.
UPDATE: Dad died November, 2002 (89)

..about Westchester Community College:
My late father and Dr. Martin, the President of the college, in the 60s, were friends, so it was arranged for me to get in. I studied electrical, ran the radio station with Jim Marsh, and mostly concerned myself with getting my disc jockey thing going. I did not graduate, because I was .18 below the minimum to get the diploma. And hung out at Donahue's Tavern, allot.

First Job was paperboy, then Soda jerk, then Radio Station Remote tech, then 30 years as a personal appearance disc jockey as owner and operator, "BILL DONOVAN AND HIS RECORD MACHINE"
