Bill's Story
Life
I went into the USAF almost immediately after graduation (Sep 69). Developed a love for planes and flying. To quote from a movie .. I have a "need for speed". I raced karts (International Kart Federation - IKF) in my late 40's to satisfy this need and finished 2nd in the region my last year of racing. I have been in the engineering and/or manufacturing field for over 30 years now. I'm a Sr. Designer in the Aerospace industry and working for a gov't contractor. k; I enjoy it immensely. My job requires me to travel some, which I also enjoy. Currently living and working in OKC.
UPDATE! 09/2008 - I no longer work for a gov't contractor, but I am still in the aerospace industry working as a "contract engineer"; which reqires me to travel a great deal more. I'm currently working for a company on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, about 75 miles North of Norfolk, VA. My current project is a VIP completeion of an Airbus A340 for a VIP in Saudi Arabi. Who knows where I'll be next.
