When I was growing up during my grade school days in Southeast Portland, I spent many weekends climbing large fir trees and exploring the golf course near our home. I was even caught on the roof of our home looking across the golf course down to the Willamette River. Sometimes a concerned neighbor would call the house and report me to anyone that was home.
