I"M WAY past due getting this down in writing.... After West and Olympic I graduated from PLU with a degree in Philosophy and an officer's commission in the USAF. I served 5 1/2 years in Warner Robins, Ga and Kadena Okinawa as an aircraft maintenance officer. The biggest highlights were managing upgrades to the B-52 and KC-135 aircraft in Georgia and being chosen as the youngest Maintenance Supervisor on the SR-71 spy plane in Okinawa. I then parlayed that into a career in aerospace, first at General Dynamics in San Diego on the Tomahawk cruise missile program and then Northrop Grumman near Los Angeles on the B-2 Bomber and other advanced development programs. I left Northrop Grumman in 1998 and returned to Silverdale to help Mom take care of Dad who had Alzheimer's disease and to work in downtown Seattle as a contractor to Federal Occupational Health, managing their computer support help desk and software development activities. After my dad died from complications from Alzheimer's disease in January 2008, I moved back to CA.
