Bill's Story
Life
Retired submarine officer after serving on 3 fast attack nuclear submarines. Saw much of the world but mostly through a periscope! Cleaned up nuclear waste for 8 years in southeast WA at the Hanford nuclear reservation. Destroyed chemical weapons for 4 years in Oregon. Worked in the middle of Siberia for 18 months building a chemical weapons destruction facility for the Russians. onal for a year. Worked for the Power Division back in the States including a stint at Three Mile Island. Worked for Westinghouse nuclear in China for 6 years and then 1 year in Georgia before retiring in 2018. Living part time in Thailand and part time in Seattle. Single digit handicap golfer and playing a bit of squash to keep me active. . Son is now in the Northwest teaching yoga and working. No grandchildren or in laws. All in all, a very full and satisfying life!
