BILL PERRY
Bill¡¦s unique background combines 35 years of sales and marketing experience with a successful career in small business and corporate level management. A talented and creative team leader, he is recognized for his ability to build relationships, solve problems, and meet goals.
Coming out of the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller, Bill accepted his first sales position as a southern California representative for Kimberly Clark Corporation. Within a year, he was promoted to District Sales Manager. Later transferred to the Pacific Northwest, he took responsibility for five states, setting sales increase records each year before leaving the company to start his own business, Perry & Associates.
For the next 20 years, Bill developed his small Bellevue-based merchandising business into a thriving company employing 20 full-time team members, representing 15 national firms and more than 150 products. Among the earliest to recognize Costco¡¦s emergence as a major force in the marketplace, Bill established a business alliance that produced more than $100 million in product sales to Costco alone between 1987 and 2001.
Recruited in 2001 to help revitalize a Bellevue shopping mall, Bill was named property manager and director of retail operations for the Factoria Mall Limited Partnership. Serving as the No. 1 contact for both tenants and the public, Bill:

ÂX Recruited community-based programs, entertainment, displays and promotions that resulted in double digit increases in customer visits, sales and profits;
ÂX Maximized merchants¡¦ participation in mall events, increasing their customer bases and sales;
ÂX Managed 530,000 square feet of retail space with $135 million in annual sales.
An effective and experienced public speaker, Bill has been tapped as both a copywriter and a ¡§voice talent¡¨ for broadcast promotional tapes. He has planned marketing campaigns for a variety of business and community campaigns, and has coordinated special events from golf tournaments to business openings.
Known as a community leader and dedicated volunteer, Bill has a passion for using his talents and abilities to help people solve problems. He has extensive experience working in behalf of senior citizens ¡V through the Overlake Hospital Senior Care Program, the Westminster Chapel Senior Outreach Program, and the Crista Ministries Senior Community outreach effort which he developed. In addition, he is a dedicated civic activist, working with the City of Bellevue on a variety of community projects, and serving for seven years as president of his homeowner association.
Bill is a long-time member of Bellevue Sunrise Rotary. He is an avid golfer. Above all, he is devoted to his family, including his wife Phyllis, his three children, and five grandchildren.
