Bill's Story
After spending my high school days high on drugs ..I went to college and cleared my head. It went well enough, I suppose. I earned a master's degree in psychology specializing in language development. Fortunately, it also had applications in the field of speech-recognition because, by the time I graduated, the Reagan administration had cut most of the funds for work in my field. red that computer systems are modeled largely on the way people handle information. So, my college education wasn't wasted after all. I met, and married, my wife Laura ..a force of nature and enterprising architect from Mexico City. We have one daughter, Vanessa, who is married and working as a graphic designer in Portland Oregon. We live in Santa Barbara and enjoy things like hiking, swimming in the ocean and exploring the coastal zone.
