Bill's Story

Brief history of the life and times of Bill Schoonover. After College I worked for the Defense Nuclear Agency as an Electronic Tech. After 3 years of bench tech work, I became a garment screen printer, something different. Next I worked at the Lawerence hall of Science, in charge of exhibits. By 1986 I was ready to start something more concrete. I got a job at UC Berkeley in undergraduate Physics instruction, which I did for over 20 years, retired in 7/06 and now I'm a Sears repairman, repairing kitchen appliances. lf and roller hockey (ice hockey is just a little to expensive) this is the first year I haven't played basketball or Volleyball, just a little to hard on the body. I also enjoy playing the guitar and jamming with friends. Check out U-Tube under the name of our band, Advancing Reverence, it will crack you up. But most importantly I enjoy being a husband and a father to my wife and kids. Life is good in AZ, cost of living is much lower than in CA, so quality of life seems better. If any one would like to catch up, I'd be open to that. Schoon out
