Billie's Story
Guess I left Sonora in 1977. Moved to Amarillo, TX. Never did graduate from HS. But I did get a GED.
I had 3 children, 2 girls and a boy, starting in 1978. Mari (1978), John (1981), and Carol (1982).
Got an Associates Degree from a community college in Amarillo in 1993, then moved to East Tennessee, where I went to work at Panasonic. We didn't move there for the job. We just moved. It was one of those things where you pick a spot, sell everything and just go. We moved to a small town called Maryville, just south of Knoxville. Been there since.

In 2001, he bought his own truck and I started going with him. We have been self employed since then. In 2005, I went ahead and got my CDL so I can help with the driving.
We are still truck drivers and loving it. Seeing the United States is great even if it is from the cab of a truck. I've been to almost every state now. I still lack Idaho and Alaska.
We have three grandchildren. Mari has 2 girls, ages 3 and 11. Carol has 1 boy. He'll be a year old in January.
John is in the Navy, stationed on the Nimitz in San Diego, CA. Did 4 years, then re-inlisted for another 4. No kids from him yet (that I know of).
