Billy's Story
I've now retired after 39 1/2 years with 3M. I thought I had retired from coaching but accepted a position to be the Head JV Coach for the Powdersville HS team. We finished around .500 with almost all the players being in middle school. I also have 3 grandsons now.😀😀😀
Well guess we are getting older. I finally retired from coaching, well sort of. I'm going to work with a team that needs a lot of help. I don't plan on coaching them, just sort of consulting. Thomas, my first and only grandchild is up visiting from Charleston. To only be 5 months old and 6 weeks premature, he is growing like crazy and is very strong. Its a lot of fun having him...Expand for more
around even if it is only for a weekend.
I always wanted to be a coach when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the front and add on a nothing at all. My dream home would be where I live now. I waited 20 years for it to come back on the market.
hmm. I'd like to retire in a couple of years.
Share a big victory...well I've had State Championships in 5 different age groups. I've been lucky to have some great players. Over a 100 of them have signed college scholarships and I take great pride in some of them coaching and giving back to the sport.
