Life
In school, I started hanging-out with a bad crowd and soon found myself in a world of trouble, i.e., alcohol, drugs, fast cars, faster women and the whole nine yards imploded on me. By age 21, I was doing life in prison! Twelve years later I emerged from the pit with a new outlook on life. Prison saved me from a fate worse than if I had remained on the streets... HELL!! While in prison, I found the Lord and two good trades that enabled me to lead a "normal" life. I became a commercial deep-sea diver and later entered the medical field, where I am to this day. Garfield during '60-'63, might recall a jerk that drove his car right through the campus? The same jerk later was arrested for pot and was escorted hand-cuffed through the halls by East L.A.'s finest narcs... that incident was the turning-point in my young life. It just got worse as time went on. But as mentioned earlier, I "hit-the-wall" and was forced to grow-up in a mean environment! Praise the Lord, with His help, I made the best of a bad situation. I'd like to take this opportunity to say I'm sorry if there are any former classmates whom I may have "dissed" during my formative years. I have good memories too... like the Garfield/Roosevelt
games, ROTC, dances and lotsa' cute girls!
