Billy's Story
Life
After gradustion I spent 8 yrs in the US Navy. After leaving the Navy I worked for Brown and Root constriction in Houston, Texas for a short time. For the past 29 yrs I worked for the Houston Police Depatrment as and Officer. I am now retired. I am married (Evelyn) and have 2 sons, David and John. I live in Willis, Texas, 50 miles North of Houston.
Military
After graduation I enlisted in the US Navy. I was stationed at Norfolk Naval Co...Expand for more
mmunicatons Center, and assigned to a radio station at Cedar Island, NC. After there I went to the USS Wright CC1, a communicatons command ship. I helped decommission the Wright and went down the pier to the USS Inchon, LPH12/MCC12. I helped commission the Inchon and am a plank owner. She is now decommissioned and slated for destruction by explosion for training. I am now retired after 29 years with the Houston Police Department, Houston, Texas.
