Billy's Story
After HS I joined the Air Force and shortly there after was sent to Viet Nam as a military policeman.
After returning to the states I finished my military in Grand Forks ND, the coldest damn place on this earth.
I married my 1st wife Diana Barber and we had a daughter (Sonja) and a son (B.J. Jr). We stayed married for several years but drifted apart.
I later met and married a lady named Linda, we had one son (Kevin) who is still in the Air Force.
It was during that time that I went to work for the Dallas County Sheriff's Dept. After eight years there I wanted to go outside so I accepted a job with a small police dept., stayed there for some eight years to gain experience when I was asked to ...Expand for more
go to work for the Rowlett Police Dept. for a close friend who was the chief.
I spent fifteen years there where I was injured in an arrest, requiring back surgery so after another year I was never able to recover enough to go back on the street so I retired on Jan 1 2000.
I married Barbara Brown during that time and after 15 years we divorced with her leaving me with Donald our only child.
Donnie is now married and expecting his first child in Oct.
Sonja gave me a grandson and a granddaughter after she served a hitch in Iraq with the U.S.Navy as a chaplins assistant,
My name sake has his own business fixing houses and is doing very well.
I am still single and enjoying my 9 ferrets and 2 Dumbo rats.
