Bj's Story
Hi,
After high school I attended Eastern CT State Univ. and graduated in '84 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. I moved to CA in search of work, met my husband Ben there and we moved to SC where I earned my masters. We had a small farm in Ohio for awhile while I worked at Ohio University, then we moved to upstate NY for a better employment opportunity for Ben. Meanwhile...Expand for more
our son was born in '95. I left work to care for him and we've been homeschooling ever since. Currently we live near Raleigh, NC. Still looking for another piece of land to farm organically, would love to be able to raise our own food and make a living from the land. For now we have a large yard, garden and some chickens :)
