Lynda's Story
I went to work for DuPont right after highschool. I worked there until 1990. I got married in 1989 and had my first child (Jessica) in 1990. My husband also worked for DuPont and in 1991 he got transfered to Witchita, Kansas. We lived there for 2 years and while we were there we had another child (Lyndsey). We moved to Mooresville, Indiana in 1993 and lived there until 1999 at which time we moved back to Townsend, Delaware. We lived there for 1 1/2 years and got transfered to Bloomingon-Normal, Illinois. We lived in Illinois for 8 years and now Dan & I are living in Delaware, Ohio. ois and married with a baby. I have 2 grandsons, Nathanael who just turned 1 in February and a grandson, Matthew, who just turned 2 months. My live has been pretty busy moving around. I'm not sure where we are going to retire. I was hoping to move back to Delaware, but with our girls living in Illinois I don't think thats going to happen. My jobs during all these moves consist of many things, working at the kids schools, church secretary, and mostly home care. I took care of an elderly lady for many years while in Illinois. Right now I just drive back and forth from Ohio to Illinois to be with my kids and grandkids.
