Blair's Story

Life (Aug 2008) I now live in Granbury, TX with my husband of 4 years. I have a son, Ray, from a previous marriage. He's 23, single, works in downtown Denver and goes to college in Colorado. He graduated from the infamous Columbine High School, but was in middle school when the tragedy happened. My first husband was Ken Krehn - we met at a Kean College music majors re-union. He decided he wasn't happy after 11 1/2 years of marriage. I have 2 cats and sang with Sweet Adelines (barbershop harmony) for 15 years. My folks still live in the same house I grew up in in Chatham. When I got married in May 2005, I became the instant grandmother of 6! I'm too young!! There are now 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren (husband's oldest daughter re-married). The 5 girls, ages 9 1/2, 8 1/2, 7 and 5-yr old twins, and a boy age 5 and the newest addition boy is 1 year old. ...Expand for more
The step-granddaughter is 14 and the step-grandson is 12. I love them all. I have 3 grown step-kids all in their 30sand 40's. One stepdaughter in Dallas, one in Santa Monica, CA and a stepson in Houston. From high school days, I'm still in touch with Arlene Na and Sue Pfaff. And just recently was contacted by Martha Abbott Lisman. I LOVE movies, both old and new. I have a brain like a steel trap when it comes to movies and Broadway musicals. I remember all sorts of trivia. No one wants to play Trivial Pursuit with me. I get to Chatham at least twice a year to visit my folks. If anybody from Chatham HS remembers me at all (I'd say most don't), then they might remember me as a quiet nerd. The kind that the popular kids would make fun of. That's ok - college turned my life around. I came out of my shell and I've made many friends that I'm still in touch with today.
