Shirley's Story
Life
I was born in Oceanside, California February 29, 1948. I went to Elementary School at South Oceanside School, Jefferson Junior High School, and graduated from Oceanside High School in 1966.
I married my husband Martin R. Hubler May 3, 1970. We've been married for almost 34 years. We have three sons Martin R. II, born August 13, 1971, Blair, born July 3, 1973, Phillip born August 31, 1975, and a daughter Tiffanie born June 25, 1977.
We moved to the Palm Springs, California area in 1983 and have been there twenty-one years. After moving to the desert I attended the University of Redlands and completed my BA. I then attended National Univers...Expand for more

I was hired by Coachella Valley Unified School District in 1991. I teach at Bobby Duke School and am the Fourth Grade Lead Teacher. I went to Grand Canyon University to complete a Master's Degree. I am now finishing a program to get my Educational Doctorate Degree with California Coast University.
I am the proud grandmother of three little grandsons Jeremiah almost 5, Elijah 3, and Isaiah 20 months old. All of whom I get to see almost every day. They are the joy of my life.
I hope to continue in education after I leave classroom teaching. The Lord will be providing me with the details at a later date.
