After high school and a very long time in and out of college I got a BA in History from Fresno State. I was going to be a history teacher but one thing led to another (mostly away from being a teacher) and after several unsatisfying jobs I became a Field Paleontologist and Archaeologist. I usually am out someplace where no one else wants to be looking for Really Really old dead things, like prehistoric horses, camels, mammoths, and anything else I can find buried in the ground or sometimes even not buried.
