After high school I got married to Jim Madden and had three kids, two boys and one girl. I have 5 grandchildren and one greatgrandson. My children all live in the same area as I do and we get together often. All three of them are self employed and are in the construction business. We have built several spec homes and apartments through the years. I moved to Long Beach, Ca. in 2001 from Yorba Linda , Ca. and we bought a condo on the beach wanting a different life style as we were empty nestors. I went to junior college for a couple of years and than we moved to Bend Oregon for 4 years and started a cabinet business. We moved back to California in 1974 and than moved to Hawaii for a year which was an interesting experience. Jim was doing housing for the military at that time.
