Bo's Story
I went to the University of Alabama, got my BS in Civil Engineering. I started to work at a company called Chicago Bridge and Iron in Birmingham. While working there I met my wife, Beckie. We have been married 27 years. I worked for them 5 years, we lived in many interesting places. We moved to Winter Haven, FL (Cypress Gardens), we moved to Pascagoula, MS, Chicago, IL, Monroe, MI, back to Chicago and then Birmingham, and that was all within 3 years. I quit there and joined the Air Force. I have been there for 23 years, I started out as a Navigator and then into Civil Engineering. I have flown several different types of airplanes, the one I flew the most was the AWACS- E-3 (it has the large roto dome on top). We have lived in Sacramento, CA, Mather AFB; Oklahoma City, OK, Tinker AFB; back to Sacramento, Mather; back to Oklahoma City, Tinker; and then to Warner Robins, GA, Robins AFB; which is where I am currently stationed. ried and his wife's name is Abby. Harold was deployed to Iraq for about 6 months, returned home safely. Dawn who is in college at Valdosta State, she wants to be a Teacher. She recently got married Dan who is in the Air Force and stationed at Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA. Tanner just graduated from High School and will be going to College in August. He will start out at ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) and then transfer to University of GA in Athens. He plans on getting his degree in Wildlife Management and work for the Forrestry Commission. Beckie taught until a car accident gave her back problems and now she just stays home with our 4 little dogs that we have adopted in one way or another. I plan on getting out of the Air Force in a couple of years. The most enjoyable things that Beckie and I do is to Volunteer at Christmas with the Marine Corps Toys For Tots program. We have been doing that for about 4 years and love it. We attend Southside Baptist Church and enjoy getting involved in activities they have there at church. That's about it.
