Bob's Story
Stories are always clearer in hindsight. 1972 to 1981 were my dark ages. Nothing to really relate, other than I survived. The summer of 1981 was a new start. Mary came into my life. The world's most wonderful woman. Simple elegance. We put a family together with six kids. Not easy, but "worthwhile" doesn't begin to describe it. Then in 1983 we headed off to Northeastern State University (Oklahoma). I completed a BS with majors in Physics and Mathematics. Mary went from zero to Doctor in six years. (Really!) had her practice. With the kids on their own at that point we bought a photo shop in Winter Park, CO. and moved to one of the most beautiful places on earth. The economic downturn (dot com bubble burst) was not kind to Adkinson Studios and Photomaniacs Imaging Center and we are now back in OKC. Presently I'm Lead Engineer with the DoD High Frequency Global Communication System and Mary manages our real estate and propery managmenet company. We enjoy travelling, and life keeps getting better. At this rate, I'm looking forward to getting old with the world's most wonderful woman. (Did I mention how special she is?)
