Bob's Story
Life
I live in Lansing, MI and am married to Jan who has now retired from teaching second grade. Two great daughters who are both college grads - each has their masters from Western Michigan University - one in medicine and one in speech pathology.. I was in charge of IT (computer software and hardware) and was the CIO for auto-owners insurance company. I retired in June of 2014 after 40 years of service. I loved my work and company and it was a real blessing for me.
Jan and I are snowbirds and have a home in the villages, Florida where we spend late fall and winter. Lots of things to do in Florida compared to Lansing mi.
I love sports, Michigan State Sports, Golf, and my home in northern michigan - Glen Ar...Expand for more
bor, MI. It is on Lake Michigan and though cold - it is not salty. It is by sleepy bear dunes and very beautiful.
I still remember fondly my two best friends in high school, Steve and Steve - two great guys who I am proud to call my best high school buds!! I talked to Andy the other day and he still ROCKS. Just found out Bill Waters passed away. Bill and I had lots of fun growing up together. I have never beaten Bill in basketball but boy did we have fun. I have 2 grandsons named Adam and Paul and 3 grandDogs named Maggie, Ellie, and Teddy.
I enjoyed growing up in Greenwood and would love to hear from any classmates
