Bob Dolan:  

Bob has lived in Northridge, California for 35 years after 8 years in Valley Village/Studio City when he moved back to LA. He lived in San Francisco for 9 years. Bob's schools include Los Angeles Valley College and San Francisco State College. (Kathy went to USC ) Bob worked at Freelance Musician's Union Local 6 in San Francisco, Ca for 9 years. Bob then returned to LA in 1980 when he bought an on going business in music printing for the studios/sound tracks / TV / Live performance located in Studio City. He directed it for 26 years before selling it to his cousin who was on staff in 2005. During the 26 business years, he returned to Freelance Musician's Union Local 47 Hollywood to carry on Union business as he had done in San Francisco. Bob is married to Helene ( my travel agent first! ) for 34 yrs, two children, two granddaughters, two dogs and to many hobby cars (mid life Chryslers!). Hobbies also include home improvements ( 3 rental homes in Encino ), gear head car stuff, and world traveling, having traveled to every continent, and that includes Antarctica! Been around the world several times flying, but we finally completed cruising around the world on a 10 collective cruises to accomplish it over 5 years. A resent cruise down the Nile River, Egypt included a B-Day gift from my wife, a luncheon serviced on a private sail boat day excursion on The Nile. "Helene and I have been to the top of the world at North Cape, Norway (Mid Night Sun) and walked Antarctica on the bottom. We've also walked on the Great Wall of China to walking/exploring INSIDE! the Pyramids in Cairo, walking the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt!", skiing the Matterhorn in Zermat, Switzerland. How about the resent hiking/climbing up to Machu-Pichu, Peru after an evening of much needed oxygen air-conditioning in our hotel room!!!! And to the Irish roots in me, I've kissed "The Blarney Stone"!!!! In Jerusalem, I crawled to ground zero of where the Crucifix was planted and kissed the spot of Jesus' death now in an Armenian Church underground there. Bethlehem was the same story, with the manger of Christ now underground of a Catholic Church (below street level by today's standards) We have shared Christmas' in Rome's St. Peter's and "South Beach", Miami, to two different times in Rio de Janiaro, Brazil and and then Capri, Italy once!!! This New Year's Eve will be in Singapore and then sailing to Australia and finish in Papeete, Tahiti. Life's special moments include lunch atop the "Twin Towers", 2 years before 9/11 (Bob's B-Day w/ 10 friends!!!), dinner on the Ginza,Tokyo, to dinner with my wife on the Effifel Tower in Paris. My wife and I have also gone scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. ("Ga day" from "Down Under" the Great Barrier Reef!) Flying on the "Concorde" Jet to Europe, sailing...Expand for more
