Bob's Story
Hello All,
I moved from the Seattle area back in 2000 to the Space Coast of Florida for Boeing to work at Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral on the Delta IV rocket program. I worked on various space programs along the way, and then spent my last 5 yrs at Boeing as a IT Project Mgr for new installations around the U.S.
When Boeing offered the Voluntary Layoff (with a severance package) in June of 2020, I grabbed it and have been retired since. I am loving the retirement life, and I am just busy enough, and doing things on my own time clock.

ters in Florida, though the summer time can be a bit warm with heat and humidity in the low 90's (both heat and humidity). But being acclimatized helps, as well as going swimming in the ocean & pool! Shorts and T-shirts all the time, thumbs up on that!
I have been married for 34 years and we have 4 grown kids. All of them have left Florida for Seattle, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong... According to my wife Jennifer...We may have to move back West to be closer to the kids... We will see. I am hoping that just visits will be enough for her. But happy wife = happy life!
