Military AFTER MY ACTIVE DUTY ENDED IN 1975, I WORKED FOR FIVE YEARS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. I WAS LAID OFF FOR 6 MONTHS, THEN IN 1982 I WAS EMPLOYED WITH THE CALIFORNIA AIR NATIONAL GUARD. AFTER 22 YEARS I WILL RETIRE IN JANUARY 2004. ...Expand for more
BEING A FULL-TIME GUARD MEMBER WAS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. I WAS ABLE TO LIVE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, AND TRAVEL TO ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD. PAYED VACATIONS WHILE DOING YOUR JOB FOR AMERICA. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT CAREER.
