Bob's Story
The short version: Graduated Lakeland HS in 1971; UCF (then FTU) a few years later. Spent a couple years working on the Hill in DC; then law school. Been working for the Army here in Northern Virginia, in a business development/management/policy position, ever since. Retired Sep 2011 as the office is part of BRAC and moved to San Antonio, and I don't particularly want to move. Aug 2012 however, started back to work part-time with DLA HQ doing mostly the same stuff I did before. Married Barbara Rajchel from Winter Park way back when. Two kids. Ted finished law school at GMU, then spent 2 years working for a US Federal District Judge in Houston; then working with the CFTC in DC, and now in Chica...Expand for more
go. He also just finished a Master's in Economics. Ted got married in May 2011 (necessitating the move to Chicago, as Lila is in her 3rd year of medical school and just finished her PhD in something I can't pronounce! Steph got her Masters' in Linguistics at the University of South Carolina after her undergraduate work at William & Mary (Education), in Williamsburg, VA. She spent almost a year in Krakow, Poland, under the Fulbright program. She's back in this area teaching TESOL/English, and is now at Thomas Jefferson High School. Barbara spent the last part of her career in DoD doing international procurement and retired 3 years ago - and is really enjoying herself! All in all, it's been great!
