Bob's Story
I have had a varied and interesting career in education, in law enforcement, and in business. Not yet retired and really not wanting to do so, I am a probation officer with the Mohave County Probation Department in Bullhead City, AZ, specializing in Intensive Probation Supervision. Three children have blessed my union with Patty and we have four grandchildren. We were married for nearly 47 years. After a valiant battle with cancer, she passed away just a short time ago. My life has changed drastically since then and I truly miss my life's partner but adjustments must being made must continue to move forward. Looking back at everything, my regrets are losing contact with many of the friends I had growing up in Mount Prospect and at Prospect High School, but I still keep up with the town through the internet and remain a life-long Cubs fan! I wish I could have attended the 50 year reunion. It would have been wonderful to see you. I wish you a happy and productive life. I look forward to reading your bio very soon.
In the past year since this was written, health issues have become dominant in my life. A mild stroke and a diagnosis of lymphoma have put me in a recovery mode. I will overcome these setbacks. Currently, I am on extended leave from my job, but hope to return in the near future. Something I have learned is that one cannot give up fighting for quality of life regardless of age.
