Bob's Story
Hi all! Glad you took the time to look me up!
Well all that time in ROTC didn't help me get into the Naval Academy- I went for my flight physical and they said I had a heart murmer (which I had since a kid) and they said- Thanks but no thanks.
I ended up going to a wonderful little college called California Lutheran College (now University) in Thousand Oaks, Ca. Graduated with degrees in biology and music. I worked for the college for a few years as an admissions officer and then got into the pharmaceutical industry. called it quits and retired at the end of 2005 (great timing, huh?!). Enough of the business stuff.
I met the love of my life, Susan while at college and we were married in 1984 (coming up on the 25th anni!). No children- which is the other reason I could retire early!
We are both very involved in our church here in Fallston, MD as well as other community activities. I have been active in yoga for the last 8 years and really enjoy it. I still get the trombone out every now and then, but not as much as I used to.
So all in all, we've been very blessed and I certainly still remember fondly all the times at Apollo.
